Income and Storage

Structure Metal Energy Gives
Commander – – 25 energy, 1 metal
Metal Extractor 50 521 0.5 to 2.3 metal on a deposit; uses 3 energy
Moho Mine 1508 8700 About 3 × an extractor; uses 15 energy
Metal Maker 0 687 1 metal for 60 energy
Solar Collector 145 760 20 energy
Wind Generator 52 509 0 to 30 energy: 30 × wind speed ÷ 5000
Tidal Generator 82 768 The map's tidal strength, in energy
Geothermal Powerplant 520 9568 250 energy, on a vent only
Fusion Reactor 5130 36,058 1000 energy
Energy Storage 240 2430 Stores 3000 more energy
Metal Storage 305 535 Stores 1000 more metal

Figures are per second. Your starting amounts also set your starting storage (at least 200 of each). Anything beyond storage is lost. With an empty energy store, extractors and metal makers stop and laser towers cannot fire.

Build Speed

Builder Build power Solar Collector Metal Extractor
Commander 300 8.3 s 6.0 s
Adv. Construction Vehicle 200 13.9 s 10.0 s
Adv. Construction Kbot 160 16.6 s 12.0 s
Construction Vehicle 100 27.7 s 20.0 s
Construction KBot 80 41.6 s 30.0 s
Construction Aircraft 50 83.2 s 60.0 s

Every 1/30 of a second, a builder adds its build power ÷ 30, rounded down, to the job. Build power 80 therefore works like 60, and 50 like 30. Basic factories have 100 and advanced factories 200. Helpers add their build power to the job. Repairing gives 30 hit points a second for about 30 energy, with any builder.

First Builds

Build Metal Energy With the Commander
Kbot Lab 705 1130 22.5 s
Vehicle Plant 620 1000 21.7 s
Aircraft Plant 850 1370 24.1 s
Radar Tower (radar 1440) 49 750 3.8 s
L.L.T. (range 300, 10 energy a shot) 262 2546 15.6 s
Unit Metal Energy From its factory
Construction KBot 120 2410 62.2 s
Construction Vehicle 185 2030 55.0 s
Peewee 53 697 16.1 s
Flash 106 870 18.6 s
Jeffy 37 564 16.3 s

A factory building Peewees nonstop uses about 3.3 metal and 43 energy a second.
